Two men were killed Tuesday afternoon in a crash on eastbound Interstate 10 near Wilmot Road, Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, DPS said.
Rescuers removed an injured man from a vehicle, and he was taken by helicopter to a hospital, said Capt. Trish Tracy, a Tucson Fire Department spokeswoman.
He was pronounced dead a few hours later at the hospital, DPS said.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision, which backed traffic up for miles.
DPS was still investigating Tuesday evening. No other information was available. (source)
