Rollover causes major backup on Phoenix freeway

PHOENIX - A rollover wreck has left at least one person injured and created major traffic backups on a Phoenix freeway this morning.

A Department of Public Safety spokesperson said the three-vehicle collision happened around 7:30 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 just west of 32nd Street.

One vehicle rolled over in the crash, leaving debris on the roadway.

Air15 video showed crews working to clear the area as eastbound lanes began slowing.

DPS confirmed at least one person was injured in the crash. The extent of injuries is unclear at this time.
Officials have not yet said what caused the collision.
