Phoenix ranks in top 20 of most congested cities in America


The worst cities for traffic are revealed. Phoenix ranks 19th in the country for traffic congestion, according to INRIX, which is the largest traffic intelligence platform in the world.

This information is based on bottlenecks, corridor congestion and wasted time sitting in traffic.

In Phoenix, the study found the Papago Freeway/I-10 from AZ 51/Loop 202/Exit 147 to 35th Avenue/Exit 141 is the most congested corridor in the Valley.

Los Angeles grabs the No. 1 spot, followed by New York City, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Dallas/Fort Worth rounding out the top five worst traffic cities.
